Renee Richards, M.D.
Renee Richards received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She completed her internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, and her Residency in Ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, NY. She was a fellow in strabismus at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, University of Oregon & University of Iowa.
Dr. Richards has been in private practice specializing in the treatment of strabismus and eye muscle disorders in children and adults. At the same time, she has been the Head of the Strabismus Department as well as Surgeon Director at the Manhatan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and now holds the position of Professor of Ophthalmology at the NYU Medical School. Dr. Richards joined Dr. Rush in August 2009.
