Dawn P. Rush, MD

Dawn P. Rush graduated from New York Medical College in 1990. She completed her internship and residency in Ophthalmology at Montefiore Medical Center Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. She was a fellow in Pediatric Ophthalmology at The Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., under the direction of Marshall M. Parks, MD.
Dr. Rush is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Costenbader Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and New York State Ophthalmologic Society. Dr. Rush has been in private practice since 1995

Renee Richards, MD, FACS

Renee Richards received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She completed her internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, and her Residency in Ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, NY. She was a fellow in strabismus at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, University of Oregon & University of Iowa. Dr. Richards has been in private practice specializing in the treatment of strabismus and eye muscle disorders in children and adults. At the same time, she has been the Head of the Strabismus Department as well as Surgeon Director at the Manhatan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and now holds the position of Professor of Ophthalmology at the NYU Medical School. Dr. Richards joined Dr. Rush in August 2009.

ABOC, NCLEC

Diane is a licensed optician and has been in the optical field since 2001. She is a graduate of Hofstra University and has been working with Dr. Rush since 2008.
Kristy

Kristy is the office manager, surgical coordinator and ophthalmic medical assistant, she is responsible for the organization and co-ordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency.She has been working with Dr. Rush since 2005 assisting to provide patient care by performing many different eye-related clinical functions. Ophthalmic assistants help ophthalmologists care for patients by taking histories, performing various procedures and tests , and preparing patients to see the doctor. She also trains patients to perform insertion and removal of contact lenses.
Marriana

Bianca is our fun, energetic ophthalmic technician assisting to provide patient care by performing many different eye-related clinical functions. Welcome our patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Optimizing patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. They Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying our providers of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.Maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.They Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.They Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.They Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
