Follow the instructions below to prevent damage to your eye(s) or your lenses:
  • DO NOT SLEEP IN YOUR CONTACT LENSES
  • DO NOT WEAR LENSES FOR MORE THAN 10-12 HOURS PER DAY
  • Always use fresh cleaning and disinfecting solution, change solution every night
  • Do not use saliva or anything other than the solution recommended by our office for wetting
  • Always keep your lenses completely immersed in the recommended storage solution when they are not being worn
  • Always wash and rinse your hands thoroughly and dry with a lint free towel before you handle your lenses. Eye irritation may result if cosmetics, lotions, soaps, creams, or deodorants come in contact with your lenses, or if the lenses are contaminated by infectious or non-infectious dirt
  • Avoid using aerosol products such as hair spray while wearing your lenses. If hair spray is used, keep your eyes closed until the spray has settled, otherwise, the lenses may be damaged
  • Do not swim with your lenses in place
  • Always inform your doctor that you wear contact lenses
  • Always consult with the office before using any medicine in your eyes
  • Do not use water to clean or soak your lenses
Directions for cleaning of 2 week or 1 month disposable contact lenses:
  • Remove surface debris by rinsing thoroughly with the multi-purpose solution
  • Place cleaned contact lenses in clean lens case and fill with multi-purpose solution. SOAK FOR AT LEAST FOUR HOURS.
  • Your lenses are now ready to wear. No saline rinse is necessary, but certainly can be done to remove cleaning solution
  • When you are not wearing your contact lenses, store in closed lens case. DO NOT store in ordinary saline solution. Saline solution will not disinfect your lenses.
